Has your newly bought China or Koran Mobile stopped all of a sudden from December 1st? Was it working fine until then? Are you puzzled why it happened?
If you are in this situation, the answer is simple.
YOUR PHONE HAS BEEN BARRED BY MOBILE OPERATORS FOR POSSESSING NO VALID IMEI NUMBER OR A FAKE IMEI NUMBER
You might argue that your phone has an IMEI number, but the fact is that , almost all Chinese or Korean mobiles available in the Market have a fake IMEI number.
This step is taken by all mobile operators because, “As per TRAI’s notice, all the Indian mobile service providers are strictly ordered not to carry calls from all handsets not having genuine IMEI numbers or the ones with no IMEI with effect from 1st December 2009.”
So first , verify if your mobile has a valid and genuine IMEI number. and if you find that it has a fake IMEI number, you can’t use it henceforth. There were various IMEI IMPLANT or REGISTRATION CENTRES run by Government to install a valid IMEI number for your phone till November 30th. But Government has not extended the date for this implant as per this site www.msai.in. So keep visiting the site, if any extension is given to implant IMEI numbers
